Woman in Icongraphy
Her dress's straps fall
From her shoulder
To expose her body
To the morning's sunrise;
A body still supple
In a season growing colder
And naked before
The river hawk's eyes.
Aside her, the sandbar
Slows the river's flow
Allowing a shimmer
To reflect a youthful dream.
Distant mountains glisten
With their first snow
As she reflects on a life
That might have been.
Her breasts reach
Towards the skies
While she thinks of the
Gentlemen returned home;
Away from their smiles,
Away from their eyes,
She opens her legs
And stretches alone.
